The hours after school, between 3pm and 7pm, are the most dangerous for intercity kids. Drugs, guns, and violence surround them. This film was created to personify that fear from a child’s perspective. Created with the expertise of stop motion animation the spot encouraged donation so every child, no matter what the circumstance has a safe and healthy place under the protection and guidance of the Boys & Girls Club.

67,000 Milwaukee children live in poverty. In many neighborhoods authority has shifted from core institutions to gangs and 1 in 3 children drop out of school. The hours after school are the most dangerous with many children having nowhere to go and most parents not at home. The Boys & Girls Club is the solution. They are filling the after school hours with programs directly aimed at these problems and are providing a safe environment for them to flourish.
