BriefExplanation

The hours after school, between 3pm and 7pm, are the most dangerous for intercity kids. Drugs, guns, and violence surround them. This film was created to personify that fear from a child’s perspective. Created with the expertise of stop motion animation the spot encouraged donation so every child, no matter what the circumstance has a safe and healthy place under the protection and guidance of the Boys & Girls Club.

EntrySummary

67,000 Milwaukee children live in poverty. In many neighborhoods authority has shifted from core institutions to gangs and 1 in 3 children drop out of school. The hours after school are the most dangerous with many children having nowhere to go and most parents not at home. The Boys & Girls Club is the solution. They are filling the after school hours with programs directly aimed at these problems and are providing a safe environment for them to flourish.
