Brad Pitt walks the streets of New York while talking about the homeless. Seems simple, right? Except it's not really his voice. His voice had been cut out of the original film, an advertisement for France's leading online bank...claiming they don’t need him to speak for them because their clients do it well enough. Well, we do need his voice, so we hacked it.

Boursorama is France’s leading online bank, and the highest recommended in the country. It is so highly recommended that the bank hired Brad Pitt for their latest commercial, only to cut out his voice - claiming they don’t need Brad Pitt to speak for them.

Boursorama’s ad, boosted by a massive media plan, was widely seen and talked about in France...and we saw an unmissable opportunity. DansMaRue, a Parisian non-profit for the homeless, could have used someone like Brad Pitt to talk about homelessness.

But they certainly didn’t have the same resources, or even Brad’s number...so, in 48 hours time, we wrote an original text that not only perfectly aligned with Brad’s lip movements, but conveyed the most efficient message for our cause. We then found the perfect voice and hijacked Boursorama’s film.

In the end, we had more organic views than the original film.
