We decided to bring road signs to life and place them around vantage areas in the city. Since the city’s motorists have a blatant disregard for the rules of the road, what better way to remind them of the rules than by a 8-ft tall road sign on the road.
Outcome
Since it was a joint initiative between the Bangalore Traffic Police and Bangalore Mirror, we were able to place 10 such road signs around the city. More than 1 million motorists were exposed to these road signs. And many understood the signs finally and the live installations invited every citizen of the city to Follow The Signs and Save The city from Traffic Jams. The Bangalore Traffic Police reported a drop of 16% in traffic violations on the week following the Unjam Bangalore activity.
