Traditionally, McDonald’s tray mats are used to deliver information. So we saw an opportunity to engage our customers. Inspired by the popular BattleShip game, we created BattleChips: The Tactical Fries Game.
Our BattleChips tray mats substituted traditional tray mats found in store and encouraged people to play with their food - fries became ships and dollops of ketchup became pins. Fire away, sir.
