This promotion consisted of the creation and setting in motion of a points per purchase accumulation system directed at bartenders and relating to bottled products. Clients received 1 discount point for each box they bought of the formats promoted in each area. During the promotional period, they accumulated points with the aim of exchanging them for the articles desired displayed in the brochures of each promotion. The client had to send off an application form together with the points collected in an envelope to the courier firm. The gifts were sent to the addresses indicated.
Outcome
During the promotion period a considerable increase in sales was observed. As a result the Heineken Trade Marketing Department has decided to establish the same Project in 2006 by creating a new points catalogue.
