Description
The design needed to incorporate many aspects of the Bombay Sapphire story as well as Laverstoke Mill's story and all in a manner that displayed craftsmanship.
Execution
A special illustration was commissioned that depicts elements of the Bombay Sapphire Distillery at Laverstoke Mill such as the architecture and the resident wildlife. Discovery is a key characteristic of the Bombay Sapphire brand so it was felt that a magnifying glass was a suitable metaphor for this. It also served to highlight a sense of discovery as this is the first time the brand is opening its doors to share the experience of the distillation process. Key dates are hidden in the illustration to be found with the magnifying glass which could then be entered into an online competition.
Outcome
The limited edition has been released worldwide and has attracted real excitement about the Bombay Sapphire brand and the opening of the Bombay Sapphire Distillery at Laverstoke Mill.
