25th September 2013 Simon wrote on Warka’s Facebook wall a post about his brothers.
A couple of days later we contacted Simon’s brothers and went to Ireland to meet them and talk about a surprise for their oldest brother. Simon never knew what was happening! 8th October 2013
Nearly two weeks after Simon’s post the reunion was complete! 15th October 2013 we broadcast a documentary film about brothers reunion in TV. On that day we also started online activation thanks to which five more groups of mates won a reunion - just like Simon and his brothers!
Outcome
The real story, the real heroes, and most importantly true - outgoing directly from fans of the brand insight gave a new quality in the relations Warka - fans. Quick, spontaneous reaction allowed fully exploit the potential of social media. The reunion was hot news on blogs, Facebook and it even got media attention:
