Our creative teams then developed a mock real estate ad showcasing the size of a Triple Whopper. In part the copy read: Title - THREE STORY BEAUTY. Subcopy – “Highly desirable Triplex in a friendly neighborhood. Close to public transport, schools and shops. Possibilities for renovations or buy as is straight off the plans. Get in early to avoid disappointment. Open House Monday-Sunday at all BURGER KING® restaurants. Ask for the TRIPLE WHOPPER™ sandwich.”
Outcome
As a result of this plan, comp sales versus the prior year were restored to growth and sales of Triple whoppers increased 12%. The campaign proved to be successful for the client and they were impressed with the innovative direction taken with newspaper.
