London cyclists are in the firing line. And there is one place they are most at risk: left turns. A third of all collisions happen when trucks are turning left and trap the cyclist. We were asked to warn cyclists about this specific, lethal spot. We made the dangers of getting between a truck and a left turn as obvious as the other things in life you wouldn’t get between: a falling piano and the pavement, a lioness and her cubs, interns and the free food.  Through a series of mixed media vignettes we showed that getting between a truck and a left turn is as much of a no-brainer as all the others. After all, it’s where a third of all cycling collisions happen.
