Description

We installed a screensaver to convince employees to turn off their monitors at night, reduce their carbon footprint and reduce energy costs. The screensaver activates after 5mins idle time, dramatically transforming monitors into appliances associated with high energy usage. Then some startling facts hammer our message home.

We recorded an immediate drop in monitors left on, from 60% to 5%. This equates to an annual energy saving of £18,000 in Wunderman London alone - a staggering 58 tonnes of carbon saved. It's now being rolled out across the agency global network and is available for public download.
