Description

Guaraná Antarctica is more than a simple soft drink. It is made from a Brazilian fruit, cultivated in the middle of the Amazon by an indigenous community that has obtained their livelihood from its plantation, the Sateré-Mawés. They are men and women who plant, harvest, roast and wash the Guarana seeds that will later become the soft drink. An entirely manual process, known by very few people.

Execution

Every year, in October, hundreds of men and women from Maués come together for the Guaraná harvest. And as part of the campaign to celebrate the 95 years of this tradition, we created four Facebook canvases that told, in chapters, a little bit about the magical world of the Amazon, of Maués, of the Guaraná harvest and of the legends and stories that involve the fruit and its people.

In the fourth canvas, called "Guaraná", it is worth checking out the Legend of Wara'ná: a 360º experience that depicts an epic moment of the appearance of the fruit, according to an ancient legend of the Sateré-Mawé tribe. Move your phone in all directions to view the illustrated details of the scene.

The canvases were posted in chapters on Facebook, one per week. Together and individually, they generated high levels of engagement. The highest in the history of the brand on social networks
