To depict competitive cars literally fading into the background, it would have been easiest to use a CGI technique. We didn't want the easy route. We wanted to craft a production technique that was every bit as meticulous as the creation of the Fusion itself.

We hired one of the world's most renowned conceptual artists (Liu Bolin). We collaborated with Liu and his production team to do what they do best: use paint to blend physical objects seamlessly into their backgrounds.

The behind-the-scenes video detailing the production quickly found its way onto hundreds of third party sites, garnering hundreds of thousands of views worldwide.
