Description

Create a donation tool to raise money – without donations.

Execution

We developed a completely new donation tool:

The HomeSweetHomePage.at – the first homepage that gives homeless a home.

The idea behind it is desperately simple: With every visit the “neunerhaus” earns money via web banners. Completely without any effort.

We’ve invited users to set the page as their default homepage. This guarantees precious daily visits and gives us the opportunity to engage with our users and motivate them to share the page.

Outcome

Due to the engagement of our users in social media, the wide range of media coverage and support from local celebrities that followed we’ve been able to get more than 30.000 visits per month (< than 436.000 until march 2017) and have thus been able to finance precious living space for the homeless.

The website programming and the online banners were made pro bono. And the media agency only takes 2% of our banner income for hosting. In exchange for very high impact and a webpage that generates money every day.
