Honesty Boxes are common in New Zealand: unattended fruit or vegetables with a box where customers are requested to put their money.
So to launch Honesty Box Cider we set out to find how honest Kiwis really were.
Digital and print executions drove consumers to a website and the Great Kiwi Honest Test.
Over 12,000 completed the quiz (that’s a lot in New Zealand).
The results were shared with the dishonest public, even featuring on national TV.
Sales have been way over forecast and Honesty Box has cemented its position as being Kiwis’ favourite cider for over 300 years.
