ODEABANK MONEY TRANSFER – IP(AD)
BRIEF / TASK:
Odeabank is a new bank in Turkey. Our task was to announce Odeabank's international money transfer service to the Turkish customers through digital means. Since it is a new bank and needs to differentiate from others, we wanted to draw people's attention with a different iPad ad.
CREATIVE EXECUTION:
Money transfer has always been a hot topic for advertising. So many things had been tried. Thus we wanted to focus on a relatively new medium, iPad. Moreover we specifically focused on an iPad trait: Finger Movement To Change The Page. In our idea; the finger movement, which is normally used to change the iPad pages, is used to change the country flags. As the person slides his/her finger to change the page, only the flag color changes. Thus the flag of one country switches to a flag of another country. By this ad we show how fast and easy the money transfer is from one country to another with Odeabank.
Results: The iPad edition of the economy magazine, Capital, reaches over 100.000 people each month. This means Odeabank, as a new entrant to the Turkish market, has reached this many people and made them aware of the fast international money transfer feature of the bank.
