Description
We were tasked with creating a piece that showcased the hugely successful HP + DreamWorks partnership. Specifically, we needed to highlight the successes of the HP PurchasEdge loyalty programme’s Kung Fu Panda promotion in a way that would leave the recipients at DreamWorks grinning, ear-to-ear.
Execution
We took design cues from the Kung Fu Panda 2 movie, as well as Eastern culture and philosophy, to create custom, hand-built, bamboo boxes. We filled them with items that highlighted the Zen-like qualities that the HP + DreamWorks partnership achieved.
Outcome
50% of recipients reported fighting over who got to keep the sand garden. In this busy world, we received personal written or phone-call responses from 100% of recipients thanking us for the results kit. This led to recipients showing enthusiasm about future project collaborations, including a follow-up collaboration in May 2012.
