Given that 18 to 24-year-olds generally have a poor opinion of the banking world and do not all have the same needs, Societe Generale commissioned us to create a digital and experiential animation to promote it, at the start of the next academic year, as the bank which helps young people with their projects (financing studies, driving license, car, setting up a home, moving abroad, etc.).

We devised a highly successful, innovative competition where students could win a tailor-made “All-Inclusive Year” by creating their dream boxes. In other words, it was a fun way of designing student loans!

A video spokesperson, in the form of a friendly student, advised and helped students throughout the entire event.

Students were able to create their dream boxes (stocks were limited) by choosing gifts from several categories (education, transport, food and accommodation).

The entire event went completely viral when secret codes enabling students to increase the size of their boxes were drip-fed on the social networks.

Winners were selected at random every three days for a month. They were sent a real box with 3D print-outs; this made the on/offline experience last all the longer.

The promotion campaign included banners, YouTube pre-rolls and Facebook ads. The winners were announced live on Fun Radio.

The event was a complete success because:

• Over 1,820,000 pages were consulted

• Over 296,250 visitors were registered

• Connections lasted an average of 4’03’’

• Over 98,620 boxes were created

• Over 3,330 #boxallinclusive tweets were registered

The game was extremely operational as 33% of visitors created a box and 24% validated their boxes. The event also won three awards (Website of the day by CSS Design Awards, Site of the day by French Design Index and an Awwwards Honorable Mention).
