• MissionBranding a TV series of LG, named LGTV.Projecting LGTV’s uniqueness.• SolutionTEST LGTV—test pattern art projectThe purpose of this project is to test the possibilities of LGTV’s functions, such as displaying colors and gradations in high definition in professional video artists’ test pattern movies.To measure its performance, “test pattern videos” have been developed.The motif of the test pattern movies is a television fuzz that used to appear suddenly on the screen in a very inorganic way after all the TV program ended at the end of the day, making us feel that an alien world existed behind the screen—an illusion that digital broadcasting has been eliminated.
The movie is expressing the feeling of vitality behind the TV with stop-motion animation of live painting and a song.
