Description

Nanosite banner employing lingubot technology answers the questions of surfers Berlin, March 23, 2001. The online Advertising Department of I-D Media AG has developed a completely new kind of nanosite banner. For the first time, banners really react to users: after entering a freely-worded question directly on the banner, the user receieves an answer without having to leave the website. A wide range of questions, ranging from user queries concerning products to those regarding the company history of Loewe, are answered directly on the banner itself via intelligent lingubot technology. Answers are supplemented with links which then transport the user directly onto the loewe website. The lingubot banner has been used for the first time on connection with a campaign promoting the relaunch of the Loewe.de website, which was also created by I-D Media.Lingubot technology from Kiwilogic was utilised for the technical development of the banner."Banner advertising can ideally support the marketing objectives of business through the use of current technologies," says Oliver Ingo Heinrich, Director of Online Advertising for I-D Media AG. The lingubot banners also allow Loewe to collect valuble marketing information about user interests via anonymous communication records which are created automatically.
