Description
When Mountain Dew introduced its cherry-flavored spin off, Mountain Dew Code Red, in 2001, it was a huge success. In fact, the Code Red worm that hit web servers that summer got its name because Code Red was the fuel of choice for the programmers who worked to halt the worm’s spread. The revamped Mountain Dew Code Red site is a subtle homage to this major moment in cyber-history: an immersive experience that lets users hack into site to “unleash the code.”
