Description

By producing a “Super-skilled Band of Junior high school girls” as a branded contents, young fans were gathered.

The high quality of the complete music was split into 8 pieces so that even junior high school girls can play with ease.

Also, the band appearance, 5 girls for the guitar parts and 3 girls for the drum parts, gave an extremely strong impression to the audiences.

Execution

? In March 2015, a mysterious band formed by 8 junior high school girls, "5572320" made its debut from one of the largest Japanese record companies, Sony Music.

Within a week after the publicity of the Music Video, marked about 2,000,000 times of view. The music was also ranked 5th in iTunes.

? Two weeks hence, an announcement was made that the band name, "5572320" is a Japanese play on words of the product name, "COCONUT SABLE". Following this announcement, over 50,000 Tweets to support the product & the band were coming in primarily from younger generation.

? The branded content incurring no media costs is still quite active. Currently, the band is working towards their third single. Also, sales of the product is steadily increasing.
