Execution

The three transformed public buses became party environments, with sofas, a bar, video monitors and a cranking sound system. Then we hit the road, touring Singapore’s streets. Our ‘passengers’ were shocked to see Singapore’s dull buses turned into places where they could enjoy spending time, downloading free, legal Bluetooth downloads of music, videos and other cool downloads. This created a viral buzz as our ‘passengers’ quickly spread the word to their friends via SMS/MMS messages.

Outcome

•The story hit front-page in all of Singapore’s leading newspapers•Market Share up by 48% from previous year •Nokia sales during the campaign exceeded expectations by 10%•Over 100,000 people rode the buses•Over 8500 files downloaded•There were thousands of SMS/MMS messages sent about the buses
