Description

The Orange Paper Film Festival was an initiative to find the UK’s first mobile phone film-maker.

Users shot and saved clips of video on their handsets, then sent the clips via MMS to 078 140 PAPER. Users were then sent a unique ID reference allowing them to access the editing facilities on the website.Onsite, Paper Cut™ allowed users to edit six clips into a 60 second film. Paper Cut™ also offered the ability to overlay a soundtrack and add titles. The finished film was played back in the viewing gallery. The site also hosted features, profiles of the paper characters, tips for filmmakers, and scene backdrops.
