We invited participants of early festivals through email to co-create Skol Beats 2008. Four months before the festival, they could participate in an online forum making early suggestions on format, venue, date and artists for Skol Beats 2008. Skol Beats Portal offered content and news on music and entertainment to support the discussion, and tools for people to invite friends to participate through social networks, expanding the voting base organically. Based on that early feedback we built tools for more people, activated by mass media, to vote on the options gathered in the first phase of Skol Beats Co-Creation.
