Description
Sonho de Valsa (Waltz Dream) is an institution in the Brazilian chocolate market. Crunchy, sweet and affordable, it’s the top selling bonbon in the world and is the leading brand in the chocolate category in Brazil.
It’s a brand with love and romance in its DNA, and the act of offering a Sonho de Valsa is itself a declaration of love. However, the brand didn’t have packaging options for gifting. The brief was to create the packaging for a special range of Mini Sonhos de Valsa. The Minis (bite-size bonbons) would be offered in both 6 and 12 unit packs.
Execution
We created the graphic concept for the Mini Sonho de Valsa by combining the brand values of love and tradition with a sophisticated contemporary approach. The idea was to transform the Mini Sonho de Valsa into the best present love can offer.The final executions adopt a checkered pattern and floating musical notes, two of the brand icons, in the colours black and pink.
Outcome
The Mini Sonho de Valsa project was conceived to be an in-and-out activity. The performance was so good both in terms of brand image and business performance that the client has decided to make it a regular portfolio item and is now planning to introduce new graphics.
