We designed and printed T-shirts to witness the achievement of each gold medal which the China team won.84 ANTA shops with 236 windows received the T-shirts. We used a special shop window design, and staff wore the T-shirts to celebrate winning each gold medal.Staff in these 84 shops would announce each gold medal winning news immediately in their shop, change the T-shirt with that specific number and celebrate it with their consumers.
Outcome
The promotion event turns into local news very soon, attracted lots of traffic and attention to the shops. People were excited about celebrating the winning moments with the ANTA staff in store, taking photos with the special window display where the T-shirt with the specific number which is representing the gold medal of their favorite sports was shown.It also became the hot topic in many BBS. People uploaded the photos and shared their excitement on-line.By the end, the promotion had increased its sales by 53% vs. the same time period of year 2007.
