“Become an Icon” celebrates the ambition of everyday Korean women striving to chase their own legacies, despite internal and external challenges they face.

Narrated via a well-known Korean ballad “You can do it” composed and sung by a male artist, the film starts with a successful woman singing the song in her own voice, ordering a chalice of Stella Artois. She reminisces of her tough journey from being an underappreciated waitress to where she is now, singing words of conviction and encouragement. The camera follows her past to present, capturing her ‘never give-up’ spirit. As the music intensifies, she stands taller, walks prouder, sings louder. She comes back to the bar, joins two successful female friends of similar pasts in musical harmony and celebrate each other’s journeys.

The film resolves with the super, “You can make your own path, when you don’t give up,” the essence of this campaign.
