Execution

When a goal was scored a graphical team reconstructed and animated the play, creating three views: subjective, referee and aerial. The service could be enjoyed in Marca.com, the leader sport portal. All the goals were sponsored by Vodafone explaining to its clients how to enjoy the service in their mobiles. The goal was to provide to the users a multi-channel experience and through this, get a perfect brand and football connection.

Outcome

The Vodafone videogoals were the most visited of the Vodafone mobile content portal and Marca.com’s services on the Internet, with more than 9,5 million videos seen. Vodafone achieved its objective by positioning its brand alongside football during World Cup action, while promoting its content-based service of Vodafone Live!
