Background
To gain wide recognition for the Tokyo Copywriters Club and raise the interest of copywriters.
Idea
The book design of Tokyo Copywriters Club ad copy yearbook for 2018.
Under the chosen theme of, “Find New Copy” we perceived that both the ability to discover judgment and the yearbook itself were the critical elements.
To this end, we symbolically employed radial exclamation marks.
Execution
We made it a yearbook that functions for readers to learn.
In addition to images of works on the theme of, “Find New Copy”, we included information on the authors and their thought process.
We also attached a commentary book on how the judges chose the awards.
The lettering of the two books’ spines was designed to align perfectly when set together in a case.
Outcome
The award exhibition held at Advertising Museum Tokyo received 12,803 visitors.
