Description

Basketball star Kobe Bryant and football icon Lionel Messi are back in an epic face-off for selfie supremacy. Armed with cameras and Turkish Airlines - the carrier that flies to more countries than any other - these superstars are traveling the globe one-upping each other, selfie style, along the way.

Execution

Brand ambassadors Kobe Bryant and Lionel Messi set out to prove that Turkish Airlines flies to more destinations than any other airline. Being two of the best athletes in the world, this becomes a competitive shootout. Who can show they have travelled the most, and the furthest? And who can send the greatest proof that they have widened their world?

*Note. This is the sequel to another Turkish Airlines film that saw the two competing on a plane.

- Surpassed last year’s video and reached the view goal of 105 Million in just 9 days.

- Is reported by Google to be the most watched ad on YouTube of 2013. It is unofficially the most watched ad on YouTube of all time.

- Was individually corresponded to 8,000 editors internationally, resulting in 2,000 online features.

- Was covered by 543 YouTubers, accounting for 23 million views on other sponsored videos.

- Made the home page of YouTube.
