Shooting new material involved a very technical and counterintuitive process of shooting to fit to brief snatches of sports coverage- so both action and camerawork were predetermined and had to be perfectly synced. We did thousands of hours of research and then had to balance improving matches with VFX, maintaining a key sense of imperfection to protect the magic in the feeling of synchronicity.
