OVERVIEW

BriefExplanation

Taste the Translation will have a better fit in Titanium since it's not a fully integrated campaign.

CampaignDescription

ELAN Languages has a great online translation tool, however it’s not known as it should be, not many people know the quality of ELAN, since almost everyone uses Google Translate. Objective: find an eye – opening and joyful way to illustrate the online translation tool from ELAN.

To prove that ELAN offers a better tool than Google, we put both tools to a test. A tasting test. We translated a Japanese recipe, once with ELAN and once with Google Translate. A chef cooked the two translated recipes and we served the different dishes to passersby. The outcome was clear: ELAN translated a far tastier dish than Google Translate. We filmed this test and posted it on social media.

Effectiveness

People were genuinely surprised by the difference in quality of translation by the two different tools. We had a lot of positive reactions on social media: Twitter, Facebook and people even sent us a personal e-mail saying they have enjoyed the film and even tried it themselves.
