Synopsis
“The Foundling” is the sixth film in the “Parallel Lines” campaign; a series of short films made to showcase the cinematic qualities of Philips widescreen tvs. The films had very different stories and moods, but all shared exactly the same six lines of dialogue. “The Foundling” was shot in stereoscopic 3D, and made specifically to launch Philips’ 3D tvs. It is the story of a child with a peculiar horn growing out of his forehead, abandoned by his mother when he was a baby and brought up by a travelling circus, where he becomes one of the attractions in the freak show. One day he sees someone familiar in the crowd….....
