Write a short summary of what happens in the film

The film shows a plethora of natural and man made objects such as fruit, origami and oysters alluding to the intimate area, all the while singing along to “Take Yo Praise” by Camille Yarbrough. Suggesting different skin tones, shapes and sizes, and truly honouring the diversity of each and every vulva.

Cultural/Context information for the jury

To promote it’s new V-Care range, Libresse wanted to celebrate women and their vulvas, and to specifically challenge the idea that genitalia should look a certain way.

Tell the jury anything relevant about the edit. Do not name the editor.

A rough storyboard was done before the shoot, but in reality there were many ways to cut it. The edit was crucial in making sure the tone was right and not too gaudy. It needed to be playful and tasteful at the same time - starting off with everything graphic so that we slowly understood the euphemisms and overall idea, having a more human moment in the middle, and ending with a joyous celebration and the opinions of real women.
