We did a unique collaborative project between a software company and an NGO:
antiHIVirus, the first software which fights against your computer's viruses and against HIV.
In a website, you can download one of the best antivirus programs developed by Norton for just €1.20
And the proceeds are donated to UNICEF’s fight against Aids.
Moreover, the website also explains HIV's worldwide situation with videos and information.
Outcome
The AIDS campaign was widely covered in the Spanish online and offline media.
Many Spanish-speaking celebrities like Shakira joined the campaign on their own volition.
With an investment of €0, so far it has received media coverage worth around €200,000, and an estimated audience of 7.5 million.
The project is still running and helps the UNICEF programme “Unite for Children, Unite against AIDS”, which operates in over 150 developing countries.
