Description

For a digital generation of beer lovers, we decided to create a relevant, digital solution for sharing a drink with their friends on social networks - the most entertaining way to invite somebody out for a drink. A micro-game where your phone would act as a joystick to pour beer, and adding a twist in the end to remind the audience to connect in real life - use their phones for good, and text their friends with a real invitation to go out.

Execution

The website connects phone and laptop/desktop screen through the browser window, without scanning QR codes or any extra app. HTML/CSS and detailed SVG illustrations provide a smooth gaming experience while pouring the drink. After completing the task, a message appears on the screen:

"Dude, you have a phone in your hand.

hey mate, wanna go out for a beer?" - ready to be sent to one of your friends in real life.

P.S. http://sheav.se means "fill it up" in Georgian.

Outcome

So far our website has revived more than 40'000 true friendships worldwide. Technological innovation effectively attracted social media addicts just to push them back to enjoying real life.

The campaign revitalised the emotional bond between a growing part of the target audience and a mainstream brand that reached out into non-traditional channels. So far our website has revived more than 40'000 true friendships worldwide. Initially intended only for the Georgian market, half of the website traffic comes from the overseas. Cybeer Bar remains the only place in today’s Internet where pouring fake beer will help you keep your friendship real.
