Description
To support this project, Animalife has just launched a Short filme with a real story that can be witnessed in any corner of the city, but needs to reach the screens of all of us. Because, even those who are untouched by that reality can help.
Execution
The idea was simple. Come up with a short film with a sensible story that would leave the Portuguese thinking. Without paid media, we had to take a different strategy. On the 29th of March, we held a preview of the short film with portuguese influencers. On the 30th of March, the film premiered on Animalife social media channels and it was distributed across other Facebook pages connected to animal welfare. On the 1st of April, our film had already made the news and was hitting the 500k views mark. After only a fortnight, donations had increased an astounding 4500%. In a country of 10 million people with typical low engagement, we got over 500k views, a number larger than the population of our 2nd and 3rd biggest cities combined. With just one short film we touched hearts and increased donations like never before.
