Description
Every Canadian puts on a brave face at the beginning of the winter season. But after months of snow, ice and frigid temperatures, even the toughest Canadians reach their breaking point. Thankfully, Expedia.ca is there with great travel deals whenever Canadians are ready to head south for some sun. And this particular Canadian, is definitely ready to do just that.
Execution
Traditional media vendors didn't offer the placement space required for these executions. In order to place each installation in high foot traffic areas we negotiated with private commercial real-estate owners to secure the ideal locations. This also allowed us to be efficient when purchasing the space not being tied to standardized media rates.
Outcome
As a result of the creative effort, Expedia.ca site visits were up 10%, transactions were up 9%, and our Twitter and Facebook fanbases were thrilled to be heard.
