Description

This ad plays up the classic Coke vs Pepsi rivalry, typical in many past TV spots.

A Coke and Pepsi truck driver arrive at a supermarket to make soda deliveries. As they arrive, the rivalry is clear. They look over and glare at each other as Dueling Banjos begins to play.

They quickly begin loading their carts. They glance over again as they head towards the supermarket door. The race is tight. Just as they are about to reach the door their plastic bottles begin to disappear. The soda that was once trapped in the plastic bottles crashes to the floor and the bubbles escape into the air.

We then reveal our SodaStream 'hero' in his kitchen using a SodaStream home-soda maker, which eliminates the need for bottles. Cut back to see the remaining plastic bottles on the carts disappear. And as the 'hero' enjoys his soda the announcer notes, 'With SodaStream, we could have Saved 500 Million Bottles on Game Day Alone'.

Defeated, the Coke & Pepsi drivers console each other, as we see the remaining bottles in their trucks disappear. The announcer signs off: 'If you love the bubbles, Set Them Free."
