Description
To celebrate the launch the SimCity 5 game, we put the game at the center of a 7-day broadcast of game play while asking citizens of the world to be the mayor of SimCity. The daily, four-hour events resulted in 28 hours of gameplay footage in one of the largest video game demonstrations ever conducted.
Our team designed and built the site including a CMS supporting live polling through which the public determined the fate of each city. Worldwide votes gathered on the site and via the brand's Facebook were collected and presented in near real-time fueling the experience.
