Branded Content for Ocean Spray:Ocean Spray was looking to become a greater part of the family holiday tradition and not just at the dinner table. So we created and produced an original animated Christmas special called Cranberry Christmas based on a beloved children’s book of the same name. We produced the special with animation powerhouse Film Roman (The Simpsons) and had Barry Manilow record an original song for the show.

We produced the special for Ocean’s Spray’s target audience having it run twice on ABC Family as part of their lauded 25 Days of Christmas. Manilow’s song “Christmas is Just Around The Corner” was released by Arista Records on both radio and itunes and peaking at #6 on Billboard’s Adult Contemporary. The song was used to promote the show on national radio as well as on Ellen and Jimmy Kimmel Live.

The special received critical acclaim such as being one of Entertainment Weekly’s “Shows to Watch”, as well as stellar ratings (1MM+ target households) both of which will allow it to run again next year and continue to establish as a Christmas perennial. Ocean Spray will continue to benefit since they didn’t just sponsor the show they own it in perpetuity.
