Besides classic media channels, one week before the start of the league, a network of outdoor panels was transformed into mini football fields using turf material, with the slogan “TurkcellSuper League Should Begin!” To the panel was attached a mini football up for grabs.
Two weeks into the league, 20 bus shelters were transformed into goal posts with the slogan “Turkcell SuperLeague Should Never End!” On match days, fans played ball at our modified shelters!
Outcome
The campaign produced word-of-mouth amongst the public, blogs and PR in the media. Fans played ball at the goal post shelters on match days, so we replaced the balls on the panels every day! The slogans “Turkcell SuperLeague Should Begin and Never End” became a part of everyday language!
