Description

The idea: the UMTS Notebook Card from E-Plus enables you to work wherever you like. A visual of the mobile office chair required to do so is enclosed with the mail. The seat of this chair contains a message for the recipient: "Work wherever you like! With the UMTS Notebook Card from E-Plus." The enclosed folder shows the recipient the various different possibilities of the Notebook Card and contained the key visual of the campaign: the chair.Several days prior to the delivery of the mail, the target group received a text message notifying them in advance that they would be receiving the mail. The text message read as follows: "Get ready for a new type of mobile working with UMTS. You'll be receiving further details next week from E-Plus."

Outcome

15% appointment rate (interested companies who requested an appointment) and 84% read rate (ascertained via market research after the mailing had been dispatched). The original aim for the appointment rate was 5%.
