Our brief? There wasn’t one. All we know was that the new S60 heralded a new era for Volvo; that the car would be ‘the best handling Volvo ever’.We needed an independent voice, yet one who talked to the brand. Our solution was to put Samuel Hübinette - a Swedish precision driver, three-time American drifting champion and ex-Volvo test driver - behind the wheel of the new car and let him loose in San Francisco and the Mojave Desert. But in the end we let Samuel do what he does best - drive.The results are a dynamic film that took Volvo to a place they really needed to be. They loved it - so much so that our film was also used as a teaser video which went to Volvo employees, put on the Volvo website and posted on YouTube.
