Introduce the Volkswagen "Park Assist" and demonstrate the advantages of the system, increase its sales and position Volkswagen as the innovative mass market car manufacturer.
Implementation
For a live demonstration of the "Park Assist" advantages, a car was being parallel parked again and again in the streets around big Volkswagen dealerships. During parking, the driver was holding a sign out of the sunroof that said, what the "Park Assist can let you do: Freehand parking".
Outcome
The freehanded driver caused lots of fun and attention during the promotion. And made 7 of 10 people looking for advice at VW dealers, ask for the extra “park assist”.
Relevancy
Potential buyers on their way to the Volkswagen dealer get a live performance of the additional feature "Park Assist". In this way we raised the interest directly before they enter the point of sale.
