Create a through the line campaign for Pendoring Advertising Awards.

The objective of the award is to reward excellence in Afrikaans advertising and to encourage the use of advertising of the Afrikaans language. The objective of the promotion is to get advertising agencies to enter the Pendoring awards.

Execution

We realised how expressive and colourful the Afrikaans language is, and developed mundane scenarions which came alive through the Afrikaans language.

Outcome

The Pendoring Advertising Awards had 35% more entries in 2005 than in 2004. Interest in Pendoring is at an all time high and it is known as a proudly South African event.

Relevancy

This campaign was created for creatives in the advertising industry. This campaign spoke to them in an intelligent, thought provoking way i.e. in a truly South African style.
