Summary of the work
Generally, new mothers go back to the workplace after 1 to 2 months after giving birth. They have to separate from their newborns. Many workplaces offer no place to refrigerate or store mother's milk, and 55.3% of new mothers give up breastfeeding when they return to work.
When their breasts swell at inconvenient times, all they can do is run to the restroom and squeeze out their valuable breast milk, only to dump it down the drain...
Wyeth illuma, as a brand that supports breastfeeding mothers, introduced a delivery service for mother's milk. Using experience design, we helped working mothers by picking up their fresh mother's milk at the workplace and delivering it straight to their babies, for free. In this way, we helped them persist in the arduous task of breastfeeding.
