What is the worst thing that can happen when you order pizza delivery? For it to be late and cold!
Pizza Hut Delivery wanted to reinforce its “Fast and Hot” brand promise, so that the consumer would perceive their principal benefit in comparison to that of the competition.
Execution
With the Oven Delivery the consumers were able to physically experience the principal brand benefit and promise: Freshly baked pizzas in half of the regular delivery time.
Implementation
We created an innovation which allowed us to join the baking time with the delivery time: the Pizza Hut Oven Delivery, the first delivery service that cooks the pizza on the go.
We attached an electric oven to the delivery bike, which allowed us to bake the pizzas while the delivery man drove towards his destination.
Outcome
Pizza Hut Oven Delivery managed to reduce the delivery time by half in more than 50 neighborhoods and travelling over 1,000 Km. We obtained a 20% increment on the awareness of the brand attributes, through a marvelous experience, in which our consumers enjoyed the delicious taste of a truly freshly baked pizza.
