Description

We recently created a first of its kind, 5-episode, online advertising campaign for Dell Gaming. Using a graphic novel look and feel as inspiration, we personified the brands with original character designs- XPS as “Brute Warrior”, Alienware as “Precision Killer.” The characters played out a loose story focused on key drivers of the gaming audience. Episodes featured cleverly animated illustrations using GameSpot’s primary banner space, as well as full-page background takeovers timed to toggle with one another. Results completely shattered previous GameSpot metrics and client expectations, with 9X click-through increase, 60% drop in cost-per-click and a 3X sales increase.
