Write a short summary of what happens in the film
In the 1920’s a grandmother passes on her knowledge about life to her grandchild – just diagnosed with an illness unknown to the viewer. During her reflections we flash forward through time as the boy grows up. We follow him as he experiences a first love, marriage and becoming a father. He grows old and reflects on the life he’s experienced. From the present we cut back to the 1920s and it becomes clear to the viewer, that the life we’ve just seen unfold, was made possible because of the type of treatment Novo Nordisk made available 100 years ago.
Background:
Being born with diabetes 100 years ago was practically a death sentence. But thanks to Novo Nordisk life has been made possible for millions of people worldwide since the 1920s. “Life Made Possible” is a celebration of the 100 year anniversary of Novo Nordisk, but also of 100 years of innovation. And most of all it’s a celebration of the ordinary life — with ups and downs and everything else that follows.
